‘Some of my friends are getting married, others are having babies and I’m here still studying medicine’, a wise sentence that I’m identified with. 2016 was the year of people around us getting married. We received some invitations to our friend’s marriages but unfortunately we couldn’t attend all. Although we tried to be present in the important moments of our friend’s lives, it turns more complicated to us since we are living in a foreign country nowadays. The marriage of Nuno and Rita happened at the end of August, a time where we are usually on vacations. This was the reason that allowed us to be present in one of the most special days of their lives! It was a beautiful ceremony in Alentejo, Portugal! After the ceremony we ate a lot of delicious food and we danced some kizomba songs till the early morning 🙂
While the bride and groom were immortalizing the day through photography, we enjoy the time shooting the look I was wearing that day! I was wearing a dress made of a shiny tissue with a coral tonality. I conjugated the dress with my ‘wedding shoes’. I gave them this definition since they are too painful to wear in other situations 😛. I also added a delicate clutch to the look! To give the final touch, some jewelry that combine the rose gold color of the dress and the silver color of the shoes. This is a proposal that you can adapt to the festivities that are coming if you just add a fur white coat to keep you warm! What do you think?
What I’m wearing:
Dress: Mango (Old)
Shoes: Zara (Old)
Clutch; Earrings: Parfois (New Season)
